First, select your profile icon in the top-right corner of the screen. Select "Settings" from the pop-up menu. Next, click "Accounts & Sign In" from the menu. Select your Google account (the account responsible for the Home screen). Scroll down and toggle the switch on for "Apps Only Mode."
Every time the tv will fresh boot rather than being in sleep mode and ensures the encoding software loads correctly. The TCL TV starts showing green screen about 2 weeks ago Don't know why cause it to happen Only way to solve it is to unplug power supply and re-start the issue ran away for a few days but will re-appear.
Re: Bypass let's get started screen. Once it's been factory reset, you have to go through the initial setup from the beginning. There's no way to bypass it, because every Roku must be linked to a user account. The Factory reset removes that link, so it has to be set up again. Dan.
Just go through each setting and there should be some sort of default input you can set. Yep. I had to dig into settings (tcl roku tv) and find it. It still opens the roku, then does a countdown of 5 to switch to the hdmi input. Which works well enough for me. Try Launch on Boot app. Hope it might have the option.
For TVs without a reset button. Press and hold the Mute and Power buttons simultaneously on your TCL Roku TV. While still holding the buttons, unplug the TV from the power socket then plug it back in. Release the buttons when the startup screen appears on the TV. Follow the setup wizard to finish the reset.
Follow the steps below to enable your TCL TV's auto brightness adjustment function. Step 1: After pressing the remote's Settings button, select the Settings option on-screen. Step 2: Select System. Step 3: Head to Display & Sound, and select Picture. Step 4: Navigate to Advance Settings, and select Brightness Settings.

If your TCL TV won't turn on, make sure all cords are connected properly. Then unplug your TV and press and hold the power button for 2 minutes. Plug the TV back in. If that doesn't work, press and hold the reset button located on the back of the TV. If you've tried these steps, but they are not helping, don't panic.
If you are still experiencing an issue, we would suggest contacting TCL to see what options or suggestions they can provide. Each Roku TV manufacturer provides direct support for their products running the Roku OS. You can reach them via website here , or at 1-877-300-8837. Please keep us posted. Thanks, Danny.
